Hello! My name is Lauren Danielson, and I teach second grade reading, writing, and social studies here at Pecan Grove Elementary. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Learning, EC-6 Generalist certification, and I am also certified in GT, Science of Teaching Reading, and ESL.

In my classroom, we explore the joy of storytelling, build strong writing skills, and learn about the world around us. This year, I hope to instill a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom walls. Together, we will work toward success through creativity, collaboration, and curiosity.

When I’m not teaching, you can find me reading, practicing yoga, or spending time with family. I also love baking, decorating, and crafting. I believe in the importance of lifelong learning and am always seeking new ways to grow as an educator to better support my students!
