I am so excited to be teaching 1st Grade at Pecan Grove Elementary this year! This is my first year of teaching. I did my student teaching in Kindergarten and 4th Grade. I am excited to watch your child learn and grow this school year!

I moved to Texas from Nebraska in January! I have really enjoyed getting to explore the city! The summer heat has been an adjustment, but I am definitely not going to miss the Nebraska winters! I just got a puppy! Her name is Tilly and she is a black lab! She is very friendly, and loves to meet new people! 

I graduated Summa Caum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Inclusive. I was also part of a team that researched STEM in Early Childhood. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family! I love going on walks, and going shopping!

As a teacher, it is my goal to build relationships with my students. My goal is to grow them not only in their academics but in life. I want to instill a love for learning that continues beyond my classroom.
