Hey Fireflies! I'm Ms.Garcia and I am so excited about being a 3^rd grade Math and Science teacher here at Alyssa Ferguson Elementary.

I was previously awarded the District Rookie Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year of my campus. I am a product of Fort Bend, and I am so excited that I get to give back to the district that paved the way for me.

As a teacher, I want to make sure that every student is treated with respect and that my classroom environment is a home away from home where they feel loved. I believe teaching should be fun, engaging and differentiated to meet all students' needs. I also want my class to feel like a single unit, where no one is left out, despite how different they may look, think or act.

I can't wait to shine bright with our fireflies this year!
