Welcome! I am thrilled to be the library media specialist at Madden Elementary this year! I grew up in Bellaire, Texas and graduated from St. Agnes Academy. I went on to earn my bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas (Go Pirates!).

I live with my wonderful husband and wild toddlers, Andy (3) and Dean (1), in Richmond. I taught 2nd grade at Settlers Way Elementary for 6 years where I developed a passion for teaching reading. When COVID turned our lives upside down, I chose to stay at home for a few years to raise my young boys and work on my master's degree. I am very excited to get back to work and help foster students' love of learning, reading, and inquiry!
