I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could. I grew up in the Corpus Christi area and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I was inspired by my mother, who is now a retired teacher, to pursue a career in education. I am certified in General Education (4-8), Special Education (EC-12) and ESL.  This is my eleventh year teaching in Special Education and my fifth year at SCE.
