Welcome to the APE Art Studio! I am so excited to be back for my fourth year teaching Art at Austin Parkway! As a proud alumna of Clements High School, I feel very fortunate to be able to give back to the community that I grew up in.

I graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art and a minor in business. Throughout high school and college, I worked as a gymnastics coach, office manager, and, after graduation, a marketing director. While I enjoyed these roles and learned valuable skills, I realized my true passion is working with children, which led me to become an art teacher.

My goal as an educator is to create a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment for all students to be creative, learn new skills, and find success. 

In addition to teaching art, I also enjoy creating my own artwork, cooking, gardening, running, and spending time with my friends, family, and two dogs.
