When I decided to return to school and complete my Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Houston, my mind was set on teaching older students.  FBISD had other plans.  I spent seven years teaching both 1st and 2nd grade, which I loved.  My students (otherwise known as "my kids") were always so excited and eager to learn new things that it makes coming to work very easy.  They are so full of questions and energy! 

I am now in my third year of teaching 4th grade Math and Science, which I considered in college as my dream job.  We dive deeper into the foundation that was created by the primary grades.  I am really enjoying teaching Science this year and love being part of the great 4th grade team.
