The goals of the SciNow Club are as follows:

1. Cultivate lifelong interest in science
2. Prepare for and increase awareness of science competitions in middle and high school. The three competitions that are the most prominent are:
   
   • National Science Bowl
   • Science Olympiad
   • TMSCA
3. Model for similar programs in other FBISD elementary schools 
4. Organize interschool elementary science competitions
5. Develop interest in science, technology, engineering, and math-related careers
