Greetings Lions! My name is Maria Groth. I am excited to serve the students and parents of our community at Lexington Creek Elementary. This is my ninth year in Education. I am certified in Special Education (Early Childhood to 12^th grade). My position at LCE is to serve as the Math Resource teacher.

I graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor in Business Administration.  After five years of a career in business, I relocated to California and discovered the wonderful world of education. For me, teaching is a very rewarding career because I love working with children and strive to make a positive impact on their lives.

I live with my loving husband and amazing five-year old son in Sugar Land. We love traveling, doing outdoor activities, and cooking different types of food. I look forward to working with the students, parents and faculty of the Lexington Creek Elementary community!
