I am a Fort Bend ISD graduate from Dulles High School. I graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science and a few years later from The University of Houston with a Masters in Individual Differences within the education department. After graduating with my bachelor's degree, I traveled to Germany and taught the United States army service members math skills in order for them to move to a different military field.
This is my 32nd year to teach in Texas with 26 of those years at Lexington Creek Elementary. My teaching experience with children includes kindergarten, first grade and second grade. In addition, from 2000-2005, I worked as a literacy coordinator where I coached English Language Arts teachers on different aspects of reading and writing practices. Since 2008, I have been one of the English as Second Language teachers. I feel honored to work at a school where the staff welcomes all students and makes it their mission for children to succeed.
