Hi there! My name is Hope Simons, and I am a 3rd grade math and science teacher at Donald Leonetti Elementary, the greatest place to be!

I attended Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) where I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education, and obtained my certification in Gifted and Talented when I began working for FBISD.

I grew up in Thibodaux, LA. and relocated to the Houston area in 2014 with my husband, our dog, and our cat. We have since welcomed 2 daughters into our family. I have come to love the area, but still enjoy visiting our family back home. I have a knack for technology and love to learn new things! I consider myself lucky to be working here with such an amazing faculty and wonderful students, whom I look forward to seeing and teaching every day.
