My name is Jennifer Sexton. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in December 2007 with a Bachelor in Science and Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Early Childhood Education in December 2012.

 I am a 4th grade MATH/ SCIENCE teacher at DLE and feel honored to be a Lion! I have taught first, second grade and fourth grade. 

I love teaching and seeing the light bulbs go off. Knowing that my students are grasping the concepts and are able to apply their knowledge is pure bliss.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family. My husband, Doug and I have been married for twelve years.  My son's name is Bennett. He is constantly growing and changing. He will be nine years old in November and is currently a 3rd grade lion. As a family we love spending time outdoors.

I look forward to many more years teaching the future at Leonetti Elementary.
