Welcome! My name is Ariel Stafford. I am one of the Resource/Inclusion Special Education Teachers here at Donald Leonetti Elementary. I am passionate about fueling young minds and it is my belief that every student has the ability to learn and even thrive when provided with the right opportunities and resources! 

I am originally from the Fort Bend County area and a proud product of Fort Bend ISD. I graduated from Hightower High School and went on to receive an Associates of Science degree from Houston Community College but I didn't stop there. I relocated to Aggieland where I received a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M Univeristy. (Whoop!)

Currently, I reside here in the Sienna area with my three wonderful children and our golden retreiver, Harley. We LOVE spending time with one another and we generally like to do that outdoors! We enjoy frequenting parks, visiting different zoos, fishing, beaching, watching movies, and participating in family game nights! As a parent I truly cherish these moments. I understand that our experiences shape each of us, for better or for worse, and so as often as possible, I try to provide not only my children, but my students, with a safe, loving, and meaningful enviornment to experience the kind of learning that will impact generations!
