My name is Ms. Handy and this is my 3rd year teaching here at Dulles Elementary. This year I will be teaching 2nd grade math/science. I have grown to love Dulles Elementary, and am proud to be part of the little Dulles Vikings family. My aspiration is to continue to grow as a young educator, and instill the love of learning into my students. I aspire to make a long-lasting impact on each one of my students in their learning, and make a difference in their lives. To teach them, to love them, and support them in every area. I strive to develop in my students a sense of responsibility, commitment to working hard and doing their best always.

I graduated from Lamar University, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Since graduating, I have put in countless hours to grow my gift of teaching, and continuously look forward to growing in this profession. In my downtime, I love to unwind with my closest friends and family, go to the pool and read, and participate in sports such as basketball and volleyball. 

This school year, I plan to make it a goal to make sure every student in my class has everything they need in order to be successful, thrive and reach their fullest potential. I look forward to getting to know each one of my students and giving them my absolute best, in hopes they will do the same. I'm so glad to be here!
