Hello Parents and Little Vikings of the Class of 2025!

I’m thrilled to be your 4th-grade Reading, Writing, and Social Studies teacher this year! My goal is to foster a learning environment where every student feels proud, confident, and independent, while experiencing growth every day.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Education, where I earned summa cum laude honors. I’m certified to teach Pre-K through 6th grade, as well as ESL and GT students. This is my 8th year teaching at Dulles and in FBISD, and before that, I spent 3 years teaching in Houston ISD. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching a variety of grade levels, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades.

I’m also a proud mom, raising my only daughter, Katherine, in the Sugar Land community. She’s currently a 2nd-year medical student at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. When I’m not at school, you’ll likely find me running at Oyster Creek Park, shopping at H-E-B, or enjoying a movie at AMC.

I believe that parents and the community are essential partners in education, and I’m committed to building strong relationships with both students and parents.
