Welcome to the library!
I'm so glad you're here!

My name is Mrs. Crain and I will be your child's librarian this year. I was born in Houston, and am a product of Fort Bend Schools. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University. Axe ‘Em Jacks!! The 2024-2025 school year marks my 16th year in education and my 5th year in the district.

In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my family; listening to the ocean waves at the beach; completing word search puzzles; and binge-watching Netflix and the Game Show Network. My favorite foods are: pizza, pasta, fajitas, & chicken wings. I am thrilled to embark on this year's new academic journey with you and your kiddos! Students will visit the library once a week during their ancillary time.

When they visit, students will engage in a read-aloud, book check-in/check-out and at times coding, creative play, crafts, and other makerspace activities. Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade students are allowed to check out one book at a time, 2nd-5th graders are allowed two books at a time. Students may keep their books for up to two weeks. I’m here to help YOU become avid readers and life-long learners.
