Hello! I’m Rachael Susaneck, and I’m delighted to be entering my second year as the team leader for the Pre-K program at Sonal Bhuchar Elementary. With 17 years of experience in early childhood education, I am deeply committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment where young learners can thrive.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston, which has been instrumental in shaping my approach to teaching. My educational background helps me to better understand the developmental milestones and unique needs of each child, allowing me to tailor my teaching strategies to support their growth and curiosity.

In addition to my professional experience, I’m also a proud parent of two wonderful children who are currently attending Elkins High School. Balancing my role as a parent with my career enriches my perspective and reinforces my dedication to providing a high-quality education for all the children in my care.

When I’m not at work, I love immersing myself in a variety of activities. Baseball is a huge part of my family and I you can typically find me at a ballpark or track. I also have a strong interest in exploring new places and traveling, which allows me to bring fresh experiences and perspectives into the classroom.

DIY projects are another hobby of mine, and I take great pleasure in tackling home improvement tasks and creative projects. Additionally, I love food and typing new entrees. Chinese, Mexican and seafood are a favorite in my household.

I’m excited for another year of learning and exploration with our Pre-K students and look forward to working together to create a memorable and enriching experience for each child. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
