Hi! My name is Ms. Chavez. I am the proud mom of two amazing kids, Chad and Hailey. I'm a loving GiGi to a beautiful granddaughter named Leai who will be three years old this September and a handsome grandson named Chase who will be one year old this October. I am a dog mom to Bella and Rusty, who are very much a part of our family in all ways. My faith and family are very important to me. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me spending time outdoors or making memories with my family. 

I've been teaching for 17 wonderful years in FBISD, and I truly love what I do. My passion is teaching and inspiring students to reach their highest potential through differentiated instruction. I am a lifelong learner myself.  I have a very giving heart and will go the extra mile to make sure my students have the necessary tools and resources to ensure their success. 

I look forward to an incredible year of learning, laughter, and growth with our second-grade bengals!
