As for my background, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I worked in various business sectors before following my passion for teaching! In 2017 I completed my alternative certification and haven't looked back since. When away from the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my son play baseball, cooking, and engaging in spontaneous adventures. I live in Sienna with my husband Jason of 20 years and our 17-year old amazing son Logan who is a junior at Ridge Point High School.

As for my classroom, it is important that we are a community who care, trust, respect, and collaborate together. I believe in building relationships, classroom management, structure, student ownership, and making learning fun each and every day! I also believe that a two-way street of communication is key to the parent-teacher relationship. I encourage parents to contact me with questions or concerns and I will openly communicate on a regular basis through our newsletter, Class Dojo, phone calls, and one-to-one emails, as needed.
