Mrs. Lilia Trevino
Hello Arizona Fleming Stars! My name is Lilia Treviño and I teach Special Education students in the resource setting. The best part of my job is helping my students rise to the best of their abilities and see their self-confidence grow. I love what I do and celebrate the path and forces in my life that have brought me here! I have worked as a special education teacher for 9 years now and am certified to teach in levels: EC-6, Special Education EC-12, ELA 7-12, and English as a Second Language. I come from a border town in south Texas called Laredo, and graduated from Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Communications. In 2011, I moved with my family to the Houston area, and live here with my husband, daughter, 2 sons, Chihuahua, and Jack Russell Terrier. In my free time I love exploring the city with my family, going to flea markets, and reading fiction novels.
I am also very proud and excited to be a part of a school that has employed the RCA house system as part of our positive growth, and am a very enthusiastic member of TEAM ALTRUISMO! BLACKOUT! It is so incredibly exciting to see where this new house system will take our star family in terms of confidence, unity, support, and giving back to our wonderful community. I am thrilled to continue being a member of the Arizona Fleming Elementary Star family, and I can't wait to see what new heights we can build together! All of my students are most certainly #Built to be Stars!
