About Nurse Teller
My name is Douglas Teller and I have the pleasure of serving the Arizona Fleming community as your campus nurse. I came to nursing later in life, having received a Bachelor’s Degree in another field of study and working in two previous careers. I earned my nursing degree in 2010 and began working in the hospital environment specializing in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. After working my way into a leadership role in the hospital, I joined a corporate initiative and spent the next 6 years traveling the United States, and Puerto Rico, implementing an electronic medical records platform. I have two wonderful children, who both spent their entire school career in FBISD, attending kindergarten through Kempner. The interaction with the nurses at their schools played a large role in me becoming a school nurse. I look forward to interacting with you to ensure student success and wellness. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
