  • Welcome to our AFE Library!
Bienvenido a la biblioteca de AFE!

Instruction:  Students in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade visit the library for at least 45 minutes each week.  During library class time, students check-out library books, learn various library skills, learn how to access our FBISD Digital Resources for research or learning fun, learn about Internet Safety topics every nine (9) weeks in accordance with state/district guidelines, as well as read for a variety of purposes including literary celebrations and seasonal topics/holidays throughout the year!

Programs:  Our library is also involved with the Texas Bluebonnet Award and Texas Readers' Club Reading programs, author/theatrical presentation/show, Fort Bend County Public Library presentation(s), Library V.I.S.A. (Very Important Student Assistant) program, and hosts two book fair/literacy events each year.

Mission:  The AFE library mission is to provide a supportive atmosphere in which patrons of all ages may have the opportunity to develop a life-long love of reading and learning.
