Hello Parents! Welcome to 2018-2019 school year.  Its a pleasure to work this school year to help you meet the needs of our students. My name Criselda Garcia and I am a resident of Stafford, Texas. I am originally from Brownsville, Texas and my career path is in Special Education. I am a God fearing woman, and mother who is very organized, detailed oriented with a particularly interest in children with special needs.  I am a proud mother of a twelve year old boy Tristan Cole, and a three year old baby girl, Ruby Rose.

Understanding how children are assessed and introduced into the special education system has always been of interest to me.    I have worked consistently for the past fifteen years as a Special Education Resource Teacher at Houston ISD and Fort Bend ISD with experience ranging from Resource and In-home training to Special Education Facilitator on my campuses. I have also assisted with programming students into the PPCD program at my schools.  I am also a Bilingual Teacher.

My short term goal is to continue working in the Special Education department as a teacher and continue being a resource to others within my district. My long term goal is to complete my Master of Education in Special Education program at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
