Attendance is taken on a daily basis. Sienna Crossing Elementary doors open each morning at 7:30am and class begins at 8:10am. Any student not present at 10:00am is recorded as absent. The parent will be notified by automated phone call and/or email each day a student is absent. When students are absent, parents must send a note stating a reason for the absence to the school within five school days of the students return to school. The note must include the date(s) and reason for absence. Failure to send the note within five school days after return to classes will result in the absence(s) being recorded as unexcused.

At 8:10am, students are to be in their classrooms. After this time, they are considered tardy. If a student is tardy the parent must escort the student into the building and sign them in. In order to excuse a tardy, you will need to turn in a doctor's note upon arrival. A student is absent if not in class at 10am.
A student picked up after 10am but before 3:25pm is considered an early pickup. In order to excuse an early pick up, you will need to turn in a doctor's note when returning to school.
If you need to change your student's way home it must be done in writing. Please email your teacher(s) to let them know. If you have not heard confirmation of the change from your teacher by 2:30pm please call 281.634.3680 and ask the front office staff to notify your teacher that there is a change. For your student's safety phone calls are not accepted for changes of way home.
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
All children who are five years of age or over, on September 1 of any school year in which admission is sought and who reside within the Sienna Crossing Elementary boundary zone are eligible to attend Sienna Crossing Elementary. All new student registration is completed online, once the application has been completed you will then contact the Registrar on campus to set up a registration appointment to complete the registration and bring in all required documentation. - Certified Birth Certificate
- Original social security card
- Parent/Guardian appropriate government photo ID such as Texas driver's license with current zoned address or government issued passport
- Proof of residency such as a Deed of Trust, lease agreement with all occupants listed, mortgage agreement, or Ft Bend County Tax Statement
- One current utility bill (gas, water, or electric ONLY) within the last 30 days with service address and homeowner's name on the item
- Immunization records (please follow link for state required vaccinations)
- Most recent report card or grade transcript from previous school (Grades 1-5 only)
