Hello Kindergator Families!!!
I am so excited to introduce myself as one of the Kindergarten teachers here at Sienna Crossing Elementary. I am honored to be part of such a dynamic and positive family of coworkers and fantastic students!
My name is Amy Damiani and was born in the tiny state of Rhode Island. I loved growing up in Rhode Island with the snowy winters, warm springs, sunny summers and trees bursting with autumn colors in the fall. When I was 18, my family and I moved to Texas. This is where I call home now! My husband and best friend, Lee, is so supportive and we have been happily married since 2012. Our oldest son, Noah, just turned 11 and will be starting 6th grade at BMS. We have another sweet boy, Owen, who just turned 7 and is starting 2nd grade here at SCE.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Houston (Go Coogs!), with a degree in Education and can’t wait to work with and get to know your children! Learning should be fun and engaging and at the same time, challenging. I firmly believe that all of us, regardless of age, are capable of far more than we know.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time outdoors and watching my boys play baseball.
My lines of communication are always open and please don’t hesitate to contact me. I believe that it is a team collaboration between teacher, student and parent that genuinely aids in student success. I am looking forward to a fun, exciting and successful school year at SCE!
