Hello, welcome to first grade.  My name is April Toliver, and I will be your child’s teacher this school year.   I am very excited about equipping my students with the needed tools to ensure success.  I received my bachelor's degree in education from Texas A&M University Corpus- Christi, and my master's degree in Education Administration from Prairie View A&M University.   I am currently completing my 23rd year of teaching.   I believe that all students can reach their goals in life if they work hard and remain focused. I am motivated to be the best teacher for my students. I know that with team work, the job will be accomplished.
