Mrs. Lucy Le
Hello, Palmer Bear students and parents! My name is Lucy Le( pronounced as Lay as in Lay’s potato chips), and I am thrilled to be your child literacy interventionist teacher (LIT) again this year. I have always been passionate about reading and writing, and I believe in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all my students.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from the University of St. Thomas, where I also completed my teaching certification program. Additionally, I pursued further studies in Reading Recovery from the same university. I have certification in teaching ESL and Gifted and Talented students.
I have more than 30 years of teaching experience, and I have had the privilege of teaching diverse groups of students at various grade levels and school districts.
Outside the classroom, I am married to my wonderful husband, Son Le, a retired electrical engineer. I have a daughter, TuVan, who has an MBA career and her own place. In addition, my stepson, Alexander, is in medical school and looking forward to completing that soon.
I believe in the importance of open communication between parents, students, and teachers. I encourage parents to be actively involved in their child’s education and I am available to discuss their progress, address concerns, or celebrate achievements.
I am excited to be at Palmer Elementary School again for my second year and the opportunity to guide and inspire each student on their educational journey. Let’s work together to make this a memorable and successful year!
