Hi!  My name is Lynn Hinshaw and welcome to my page!  Since moving to Texas in 1994, I have been a Palmer Bear teacher for 25 years.  I taught Kindergarten and First Grade for 7 years.  As a former Reading Recovery Teacher for 16 years, most of my experience has been working with students who are at risk in reading and writing.  I have 6 years experience working with English Language Learners and I am currently a Literacy Intervention Specialist.

My husband and I have 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws and  4 grandchildren and 1 dog.  I love sports, cross-fit, decorating, organizing and building things with my power tools.

I am looking forward to a fabulous 2020-21 school year at Palmer Elementary!
