I would like to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Shaneria Quinine, and I am delighted to be your child’s 4^th grade ELA/Social Studies teacher. This year is going to be a year of new and exciting learning experiences! 

I have been in education for 17 years and this is my third year at Palmer Elementary. I received my Bachelor's in Communication, Sciences, and Disorders from Texas Woman's University. In addition, I received my Master’s in Curriculum Instruction/Technology and Education Administration from Houston Baptist University. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, traveling and reading. As an educator, it is my aspiration to instill a love for learning by cultivating my student’s passion and purpose in life. I look forward to watching them grow this year!
