My name is Leslie Youssefi and I am excited about being the Math Specialist at Palmer! This is my 10th year as a math specialist and my 17th year in education. My goal as a math specialist is to get students and teachers to enjoy math and build a deeper understanding of numeracy.  I grew up in Houston, Texas where I attended K-12 in HISD. I received my bachelor's degree at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. After graduating from Texas State, I moved back to Houston to begin my teaching career. I am excited about starting my 17th year in education and I look forward to a fantastic 2023-2024 year at Palmer Elementary!
