Hello!

My name is Mrs. Eackles, and I am thrilled to be a dyslexia teacher at Alyssa Ferguson Elementary! I am certified in general education, special education, and ESL, and I hold a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership. I am also trained in Project Read and Reading by Design. I have six years of experience teaching 1st grade and have been part of the dyslexia program at Alyssa Ferguson for the past two years.

I live in Lake Olympia with my husband, Jeremy, and our 4-year-old son, Jeremy Jr., who is starting PreK this year at Alyssa Ferguson. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, spending quality time with my family, and exploring new restaurants. I am looking forward to working with you this year!
