Hi Fireflies! I'm Ms. Awuah, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Alyssa Ferguson Elementary family as a resource teacher for 4th and 5th grade.

With 17 years of experience in education, I’ve had the joy of watching students grow into literate, respectful, and globally-minded citizens. My passion lies in building strong connections—not just with students, but with their families—because I believe learning is a partnership that extends beyond the classroom.

In my room, every child is seen, heard, and valued. I strive to create a space where students feel safe to take risks, explore ideas, and celebrate their unique strengths. Together, we’ll work hard, support one another, and build the skills that prepare us for a competitive world.
