Hello, and welcome to a new school year! My name is Katie Cruz, and I will be your child’s 4^th grade Math and Science teacher!

A little about me: I am a wife (I actually met my husband in 4^th grade!) and mother to two beautiful girls, Sadie (6^th grade) and Ella (3rd grade). When we’re not at school, we are a busy sports family! Sadie and Ella both play competitive travel softball with the Sugar Land Lady Outlaws. When we’re not busy with sports, we are at home cheering on the Astros, Texans, Houston Cougars, and Texas Longhorns! I am a graduate of the University of Houston (GO COOGS!) and this is my 17^th year teaching! I was honored to be named Sonal Bhuchar Elementary's first Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year!
