I'm teaching Science and Math for 5th grade this year! I have been teaching for 17 years and have taught at both the elementary and middle school levels. My approach to teaching includes building relationships with my students to understand how they learn and process information. I received my Bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University. Go Bearkats!! 

I have two boys at home, Dean (10) and Andy (9), and they keep our family very busy! My husband Nathan is also in education and works with college students at Houston Christian University.
