Hello and welcome!! My name is Jayson Bijak, I will be one of FBISD's FLaSH teachers this year! I started my teaching career in 2021 as a K-2 Life Skills teacher in Clear Creek ISD, before which I worked as a para in the same program. I am so excited to be part of an amazing team here in Fort Bend.

My biggest passion in the classroom is working with assistive technology, especially as it pertains to a student's most successful communication system. I've worked with emerging communicators for my entire educational career and have students who went from not having a reliable means of communicating to being able to hold short conversations with their respective systems. I've worked with low-tech paper communication boards, mid-tech switches and Go Pros, and high-tech systems like iPads and Dynavoxs.
