Greetings,

My name is Stacy Garcia. I am the Literacy Intervention Teacher here at Meadows. This is my 31st year teaching in FBISD and my 17th year at Meadows. My passion is to grow my students' love for reading through small group instruction.

Besides working with reading groups, I am also the advisor for Meadows Elementary National Elementary Honor Society, Mustang Nation. NEHS is a service organization where students become servant leaders to support our school and community. We are in charge of our flags, recycling, and safety patrol. We also host 4 service projects that support our school and city. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy jogging. You may see me running through the neighborhood as I train for the Chevron Houston Marathon. I also love to read. I always carry a book in my car for times when I am waiting on my own children to finish activities. 

As an alumni of Meadows, parent of four alumni, resident and teacher, I Iove our school and community! My goal is to see Meadows thrive.
