Barbara Jordan Elementary

  • Jordan Elementary opened in August of 2002. Our campus was named after Texas Congresswoman, Barbara Jordan (1936-1996).

    School Hours

    The Front Office is open from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    Please make your child's safety a priority. Do not drop your child off outside of school before 7:30 a.m. There will not be any adult supervision before the school opens at 7:30 a.m.

    Instructional Hours
    8:10 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.
    (Students not in their homeroom by 8:10 a.m. will be counted as tardy, and will need a parent to escort them into the building.)

    The official attendance-taking time (“snapshot”) for Jordan Elementary School is 10:00 a.m. each school day.

    Students are expected to be in class each day at 10:00 a.m.
