With two decades of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of serving students, teachers, and families in Fort Bend ISD. From the classroom to the principal’s office, I’ve always been driven by a passion for helping students succeed.

As the Principal of Barbara Jordan Elementary, I’m committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired. I believe in the power of collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of community to create a truly transformative educational experience.

I’m honored to be a part of the Wolverine family and look forward to working together to achieve our shared goals.

I am humbled and honored to serve the school and community of Barbara Jordan Elementary as the new assistant principal. My educational background includes being a graduate of the University of Houston- Downtown with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a graduate of University of Houston-Clear Lake with a master's degree in Early Childhood Education.

The 2022-2023 school year begins my 17th year in education and 13^th year with FBISD. During this time, I have been a classroom teacher, Reading Recovery Teacher, District PD Presenter, Literacy Interventionist and Summer School Bridge Principal. As a life-long learner my passion is to never stop learning and growing to be an impact to those around me. My love for education is what drives me as I strive to inspire students to be the best version of themselves.
