I was raised in South America, born in Peru, where I lived until I was 13, then at 16 moved to Chile, where I lived for 36 years. There I got married, had 3 children and studied at University to get my Teaching Career.  I have worked for 40 years in education, covering all areas from TA to Teacher of Record and Head of year.

I came back to the States in December 2014, and began the process of validating my Teaching Certificate. I have taught all grades from 1st – 6th, this being my first year in Kindergarten.

I love being at Barbara Jordan Elementart. Not only have I found incredible colleagues, but also wonderful people in Administration, Custodial and all other areas. I love the Philosophy of Learning implemented here, where the child is first and foremost in school.

In my free time, I love to play the piano, work on Diamond Paintings and travel.
