Welcome to Rosa Parks Elementary!  Home of the Rockets!

    All About Me!

Welcome to our school counselor’s office.  My name is Tahida Williams and I am currently entering my 22nd year in education.   I attended Grambling State University where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in History during undergraduate.   I earned my Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University.  I have been in Fort Bend ISD since 2004. Prior to coming to Fort Bend ISD, I worked in the Houston ISD as a secondary history teacher.   I also taught special education for a total of 9 years.  This year, I have new & exciting things planned for school-wide events, guidance counseling lessons for students, individual and group counseling, and many other ways to support the school staff.

I grew up in Port Arthur, Texas.  I am married with two bonus children and a bonus granddaughter who lights up my world.  During my free time, I love to travel, read, shop and spend time with my family.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or want to know more about our guidance counseling program!

    Warmly,

    Tahida Williams, M.A. in Counseling
