It is my pleasure and privilege to introduce myself as the proud principal of Rosa Parks Elementary. Serving as principal is a huge honor, and I am humbled to have the opportunity to work alongside the staff to support the Rosa Parks Community.

I earned my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from the University of Houston – Downtown and University of Houston – Sugar Land. I have acquired twenty-one years of progressive experience as a teacher, curriculum builder, professional development leader, data analyst, Assistant Principal, and Principal.

I work hard to strengthen the success established at Rosa Parks by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. I will work collaboratively with everyone to ensure that we support the students' growth and development at school and that it aligns to the Profile of a Graduate.  We will uphold our 3 R’s – Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn!

Together we will meet the challenges and celebrate the successes in a positive and safe learning environment, and continue building Rosa Parks Elementary with a shared vision and high expectations for all students.

I’m so excited to be part of the amazing community here at Rosa Parks Elementary, serving as the Assistant Principal. One of the best parts of my role is getting to know our wonderful students, families, and staff. Every day brings a new adventure in learning, growing, and having fun together.

I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership because of my deep passion for supporting students and my commitment to being a leader who strives for excellence, fosters growth, and creates meaningful, positive changes in education.

I am especially passionate about creating an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to be their very best. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or during special events, I believe learning happens everywhere, and it should always be joyful!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or simply want to say hello. I’m here to support you and your child.

Looking forward to a fantastic year together!

    Ashley Warner – Assistant Principal
