    It is my pleasure and privilege to introduce myself as the proud principal of Rosa Parks Elementary. Serving as principal is a huge honor, and I am humbled to have the opportunity to work alongside the staff to support the Rosa Parks Community.

    I earned my bachelor's degree and master's degree from the University of Houston – Downtown and University of Houston – Sugar Land. I have acquired twenty-one years of progressive experience as a teacher, curriculum builder, professional development leader, data analyst, Assistant Principal, and Principal.

    I work hard to strengthen the success established at Rosa Parks by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. I will work collaboratively with everyone to ensure that we support the students' growth and development at school and that it aligns to the Profile of a Graduate.  We will uphold our 3 R’s – Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn!

    Together we will meet the challenges and celebrate the successes in a positive and safe learning environment, and continue building Rosa Parks Elementary with a shared vision and high expectations for all students.

    I am privileged to have the opportunity to serve at Rosa Parks Elementary. I have worked in Fort Bend ISD since 2011. Most of my experience in FBISD involves supporting district and campus level elementary mathematics. In 2017, I obtained my Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership and continued to grow in leadership.
    My philosophy for learning is that every professional and student deserves the opportunity to learn and grow. Throughout my tenure at FBISD, I have grown to value building positive relationships with professionals and the community to encourage, empower and equip each other with tools we need to be successful. It is my goal as always to continue to provide the same opportunities to the Rosa Parks Elementary School community.
    I look forward to an amazing year of positive change, growth and success for all. Go Rockets!
