I am excited about a fantastic year of learning and growth. The success of my students emotionally and academically is my top priority. It is my goal to create a family of learners who are supported and encouraged by each other, to help each student thrive. In addition, I believe effective communication will not only help our scholars be successful, it will also help build a positive rapport for all. 

I have been in education for 16 years now. I have taught First, Second, Second and Third split, and Fourth Grade ESL, all subjects. I have an MS in Special Education with a concentration on Educational Diagnostician. 

In my spare time, among other things, I enjoy worshiping, playing basketball with my son and, too, watching movies with him. My favorite foods are veggies and seafood. I do not eat meat, except seafood. My favorite snacks include fruit-watermelon, cantaloupe, green and red grapes, and honey crisp apples.
