I have a passion for art, music, and family. I recieved my bachelors degree in fine arts from the University of Houston in 2000. I obtained my English Second Language Certification in 2005 and I completed my masters in educational leadership in 2013 from the University of Houston Victoria. I share a DJ and entertainment business with my fiance called Shamoo Ent. I also love to perform and sing mariachi songs for all occasions. I have taught art at all levels K-12 in the span of my 19 year career. I taught at Jane Long Middle School in Houston Independent School District for five years. I was the art teacher, ESL coordinator, as well as the volleyball, basketball, and track coach for Stafford Middle School and high school from 2005-2008. I have been here at E.A. Jones Elementary serving as art teacher since 2008. I have a wonderful teenager that attends Stafford High School. On my time off, I also train with the Fort Bend Fit Running group. I am a Christian Catholic and I am proud to be a part of a teacher prayer group here at Jones Elem. I love spending time with family and friends on the weekends. I love Jones Elementary. It has become like a real family to me. I love my students and my greatest joy is to be in my art room making a huge mess with my students as we tackle through amazing art projects on a weekly basis.
