Mrs. Lauren K. Price
I am honored to serve as the principal of Goodman Elementary, where I have the privilege of leading a community of dedicated educators and inspiring students. I began my career as a classroom teacher and reading specialist, and those years in the classroom shaped my passion for literacy, equity, and creating opportunities for every child to succeed. Over the past 30 years, I have served in roles such as assistant principal, dean of students, and principal at multiple campuses in both California and Texas.
Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong school cultures, developing teacher capacity, and improving student outcomes. I am proud to have led teams that increased student achievement, improved teacher retention, and strengthened partnerships with families and the community. My belief is that when we work together as one team—with high expectations, collaboration, and positivity—students thrive.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, roller skating, and spending time with my husband and our two dogs.

I am proud to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Goodman Elementary, bringing 17 years of experience as a bilingual educator and instructional leader. My career spans first through fifth grade, gives me a deep understanding of student development and a flexible, student-centered approach to teaching and leadership. My philosophy is simple yet powerful: “The only limitation to growing is self.” I believe that learning has no ceilings and that everyone can thrive when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities. My personal motto, “Be better than you are today,” guides my work with students, staff, and families—fostering a culture of growth, resilience, and excellence. In addition to my classroom experience, I have held multiple leadership roles that reflect my passion for mentoring others, building strong relationships, and driving positive change. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, working out, and coaching—activities that mirror my commitment to lifelong learning and personal development. I am excited to be part of the Goodman Elementary community and look forward to supporting a joyful, inclusive, and high-achieving school environment where every learner is empowered to reach their full potential.
