My name is Maria Elena Ibarra, and this is my third year as a FBISD teacher, teaching Bilingual 5h grade, self-contained.  I love my job and have been doing it for 25 years.  I look forward to a great and successful school year. As a bilingual teacher, I believe language is a bridge to learning, and I love supporting students in both English and Spanish.  

My teaching philosophy is and always has been: Every child can learn when given the right tools, encouragement, and high expecations.
