I’m originally from St. Petersburg, Fla. As a little person, thanks to my mom, she was the first person to introduce me to art. Then Sister Barbara was my first Art Teacher to help guide my skills in elementary school. My family moved to Pittsburgh, PA when I was a junior in High School. I went to University of Edinboro of PA., 30 miles south of Erie Lake. After, I graduated with a BFA/teaching certification. I lived in Edinboro for 10yrs. When it was time to find a teaching job after graduation, it was next to impossible. I subbed for many years. At the same time I worked for J C Penny’s and a sports complex. I played soccer and coached soccer boys and girls teams. (My second Love next to art).Then two weeks before school started, the Principal from Clements HS called me down to Texas. This will be my 19th year in Texas. I have worked Middle School, and currently in elementary. I have two children, a son and a daughter. Both love to create art but they also like sports and music. They both go to FBISD schools.
