My name is Ms. Carranza.  I graduated from the University of Houston with degrees in Italian Studies and Human Nutrition and Foods.  After graduation, I worked as a substitute teacher and found my passion for teaching Kindergarten.  I enrolled in a program that combined courses through Region IV Education Service Center and Graduate courses from the University of St. Thomas .  It was honestly the best decision that I have ever made and have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten at Glover Elementary for the past 21 years.  I am excited to take on the challenge of teaching second grade this school year.  I look forward to learning and growing with your child as we embark on this new learning adventure.
