    Headshot Edgar Glover Glover Elementary was named after Edgar Glover, Jr., an outstanding principal at Willowridge High School. Glover Elementary was established in 1993 and officially opened to students in August 1994.  Glover Elementary is a K - 5th grade school in the heart of Missouri City with over 500 student enrollment.  The school is well staffed with experienced professionals equipped with essential skills to provide a variety of academic, social, emotional and physical learning experiences. Glover Elementary is dedicated to fostering a safe environment that nurtures learning and equips each student with skills to soar to success! 
     
    Glover Elementary commemorated its 20th anniversary in 2014.  What a celebration!  Former principals, teachers, and students attended the events to celebrate the accomplishments and feats made over the years.  Glover is now an ESL (English as Second Language) campus that services students of all languages.  This technology-savvy  campus is adorned with an array of technologies comprising of Wi-Fi throughout the campus, SMARTboards, iPad carts, Google Chrome tablets for each fifth grade student, a student computer lab with 22-inch adjustable monitors for each computer, Nook eReaders, iPods in use throughout the school.

    School Hours

    The school campus is open from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 
    Kindergarten - Fifth Grade student instructional time: 8:05 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.
    (arrival after 8:05 a.m. students will be marked tardy)
