Welcome! My teaching journey began in 1993 when I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelors of Arts degree. After several special education teaching positions, I finally found my love in teaching PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) in 1998, while working for Northside ISD in San Antonio, Texas. In 2001, I moved to Fort Bend ISD, along with my husband and son, to continue teaching PPCD. This school year, I am happy to be teaching the PPCD full-day 4 year-old class. Go Fabulous Fours! The best part of my job, is that my students are able to learn through play; and I get to learn and play with them each day. Also a big part of my life, is my family. My husband and I have been married for over twenty-three years; have been blessed with our wonderful son, who just graduated from high school this past school year, and our daughter, who is entering high school this year. Our additional family members include two precious cats; and our newest addition, a cockatiel. My favorite quote is "A day without laughter, is a day wasted." by Charlie Chaplin.
