Greetings Mission West Families!

Hello, I am Josh Allbritten one of your Resource teachers. This is my second year at MWE. I have 15 years of teaching experience. Previously I taught privately as a Math and  ELA/Dyslexic teacher for 14 years.  For the school year 2022-2023 I joined Mission West Elementary as a resoure teacher.  This is my second year in Fort Bend ISD. One of my passions is to teach students of all abilities. I truly believe that every student can learn if you provide them with the differentiation they need. As a teacher I provide services to students promoting their success and achievement. I do this with enthusiasm encouraging students to reach their greatest potential.

I graduated with an undergrad degree in ELA and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin, and gained my Masters in Education from the University of Houston.  I also hold a C.A.L.T. (Certified Academic Language Therapist) from Neuhaus.

I have a son at the Univeristy of Houston and another son at Clemens High School here in Fort Bend ISD. 

I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year.
