Hello! My name is Jacqueline Romero and I am the 4th grade bilingual math and science teacher at Mission West. I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am currently entering my fifth year teaching, with this being my fourth year teaching 4th grade. 

I am a proud mother of 3 amazing kids, one of which attends Mission West as well. During my free time I love to spend time with my husband and children. We love trying new places to eat and going to the park. 

As a former Mission West student, coming back to teach here has been an absolute dream come true. My goal is to make my student's experience here a memorable one, the same way my teachers did for me many years ago. 

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Jacqueline Romero y soy maestra bilingüe de matemáticas y ciencias de 4to grado en Mission West. Me gradué de la Universidad de Houston-Downtown en 2019 con una licenciatura en Estudios Interdisciplinarios. Este es mi quinto año de enseñanza, siendo este mi cuarto año enseñando 4to grado. 

Soy una madre orgullosa de 3 hijos maravillosos, uno de los cuales también asiste a Mission West. Durante mi tiempo libre me encanta pasar tiempo con mi esposo y mis hijos. Nos encanta probar nuevos lugares para comer e ir al parque. 

Como ex alumna de Mission West, volver a enseñar aquí ha sido un sueño hecho realidad. Mi objetivo es hacer que la experiencia de mis estudiantes aquí sea memorable, de la misma manera que mis maestros lo hicieron conmigo hace muchos años.
